Welcome to ILAMAIYO!

This is the story about Amazing friends.

ILAMAIYO founder Merinyi Francis never thought that he would one day debut on reality television in China. Or that this event would lead to a collaboration of international friends in support of ILAMAIYO. "The Maasai Warriors" Francis and his teammate Paul were cast on The Amazing Race, China Rush in the summer 2010, and soon found themselves surrounded by a new family of friends who were eager to help support their education initiatives in Kenya.

ILAMAIYO is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enable the lives, desires, identities and work within the young Maasai Laikipiak community in Kenya. ILAMAIYO sponsors the tertiary education for young, disadvantaged, Laikipiak girls and this educational sponsorship gives them the opportunity to positively transform their lives.
